Suvarna Toran

A toran woven from Raw Bananas , Mango Leaves and Fresh Turmeric Roots (kachchi haldi) is a living invocation. Hung at the doorway during Diwali and other sacred days, it forms the arch beneath which Goddess Laxmi is welcomed, while warding off negative energies. Raw Bananas symbolise Prosperity and New Beginings, while the golden turmeric shines with Purity and Auspiciousness. Together, they mirror Laxmi’s own radiance, so that when she crosses the threshold, her blessings of Prosperity, Harmony, and Abundance flow into every corner of the home.
